“Magnolia West”
People sometimes ask, “Why Magnolia?”
This is my Magnolia, and it has absolutely nothing to do with Chip and Joanna. Welcome to West Magnolia Avenue.

You see, my grandfather built this house with his own two hands right after he was discharged from the Navy during World War II. My mom was born and raised in this house. It was at this house that I learned to garden, throw a cast net, play cribbage, and, most importantly, live and love like Jesus. This house, this street, and those who lived here will forever hold a special place in my heart. My grandparents always encouraged me to follow my dreams, so I found it fitting to name my photography after their residence of 50+ years and Magnolia West Photography was born.
I think my heart broke in half the day I saw MY MAGNOLIA boarded up and abandoned. 💔
