Madi and Connor’s modern Savannah Westin Resort wedding at The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa was a breathtaking blend of timeless romance and modern Southern sophistication. Set against the sweeping views of the Savannah River and the city skyline, their day perfectly captured the effortless charm and historic beauty that make Savannah one of the most enchanting wedding destinations in the South.

The Inspiration

Inspired by the city’s refined architecture, moss-draped oaks, and golden coastal light, their celebration was designed to feel both classic and current—a seamless marriage of elegance and warmth. The design palette drew from the natural tones of the Lowcountry, blending soft ivory blooms, verdant greens, and touches of black and gold to create a scene that was understated yet undeniably luxurious.

Getting Ready

Madi’s morning began in a light-filled suite overlooking the river, where the gentle hum of the city below set the tone for the day ahead. Her gown—a structured corset bodice paired with a flowing skirt—embodied the perfect balance of grace and confidence. Thoughtful heirloom accessories, delicate lace shoes, and vintage-inspired details added depth and sentiment to her bridal story.

The First Look

Before the ceremony, Madi and Connor shared a private first look along the Savannah Riverfront—a quiet, windswept moment that felt suspended in time. As Madi approached, the soft rustle of her gown mingled with the sound of the water. When Connor turned to see her, he was visibly overcome with emotion, his eyes welling with tears as the weight of the day settled in. It was an intimate, heartfelt pause before the celebration began—one that perfectly captured the depth of their connection and the quiet beauty of a destination wedding in Savannah.

The Ceremony

Their ceremony took place on the lush lawn overlooking the river, framed by an abundance of white florals and greenery that mirrored the surrounding landscape. Guests watched as Madi and Connor exchanged vows beneath the soft Savannah sky, their joy radiating in every glance and gesture.

Golden Hour at The Westin Savannah

As the sun dipped low on the horizon, the celebration transitioned into an elegant tented reception filled with candlelight, laughter, and lush garden-inspired details. Suspended greenery installations and towering floral centerpieces transformed the space into a refined Southern soirée. The black-and-white checkered dance floor became the heart of the evening—alive with energy, movement, and celebration.

The Reception

The night came alive with joy, connection, and unforgettable moments: heartfelt toasts, a decadent cake adorned with vintage details, and a dance floor that stayed full until the very last song. From the glowing sunset portraits along the riverfront, to their sparkler exit surrounded by family and friends, every moment was a reflection of pure joy and connection.

Madi and Connor’s wedding at The Westin Savannah Harbor was more than just a celebration. It encapsulated everything they love most—each other, their families, and the soul of Savannah.
