Gavriel and Leeor decided to take engagement photos at the Griffith Observatory where they had their first date. It overlooks all of Los Angeles and has unobstructed views of the Hollywood sign. We met a few minutes before sunrise. I know what you’re thinking… That’s early! BUUUT… I promise, it’s 1000% worth it! You won’t be disappointed!

ABOUT THE LOCATION
Griffith Park is a large municipal park at the eastern end of the Santa Monica Mountains, in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The park includes popular attractions such as the Los Angeles Zoo, the Autry Museum of the American West, the Griffith Observatory, and the Hollywood Sign. Due to its appearance in many films, the park is among the most famous municipal parks in North America. [1]

I love how the light changes in the morning. It starts off soft with pink and purple hues. It always reminds me of cotton candy. As the sun rises over the horizon, it illuminates the city with a warm glow. If you’re contemplating taking your engagement photos at the Griffith Observatory, one of the prime Los Angeles engagement shoot locations, I highly recommend arriving about 30 minutes before sunrise.
