— Permit needed: Yes. All commercial and student photographers are required to obtain a permit to shoot on the beaches of Malibu. See below or call 818.880.0358 for permit information.
— Park hours: 8am – Sunset
— Pay to park: $3/hr or $11/day
— No drones. El Matador is a no-fly zone.
— Alcohol is not permitted on the beach.
